Metaha,
This entry comes directly from the perspective of the volunteers. During the children's break the volunteers are working together to make the class better for the next year. Of course this can not happen without reflecting on the impact of the first year of the Omapitiro Weyuva After School Class. We have also selected a few of the best pictures of 2009! They are all below...so enjoy!
1. The Omapitiro Weyuva class helped the children grow mentally because it allows them to play, think, and do things that they were never taught before, like computers and journals.
2. The Omapitiro Weyuva class helped them improve in English writing, reading, and understanding.
3. The Omapitiro Weyuva class motivates them to enjoy their regular school classes because it gives them a better understanding of what is going on.
4. The Omapitiro Weyuva class boosts their self-esteem.
5. The Omapitiro Weyuva class turns the learning process into entertainment so they learn easier and have fun!
Here are the pictures, in no particular order!
