Independence Day

Metaha,

I hope everyone is doing well. Last week the children celebrated Namibia 20th Independence Day with a day off of school. As great as this is it means they are not around for class. Can't wait to see them next week!

Creating a habit of reading

Metaha.

Creating a habit of reading . Reading has been proven to be the best way of communicating, entertaining, and even having fun. When reading is turned into a habit, it is something which will benefit the person for life; the effect is now a positive curiosity and a desire to continue exploring.

As the children gathered for Friday, we divided them according to their grade levels at school. We ended up having 5 groups in total. The rule was simple: one storybook, where each individual will read a page while the others listen and assist when the words become difficult. Let the picture do the explanation better, Hope you enjoy.
